The Zenmuse L2 is a frame LiDAR mapping payload that combines a high-accuracy IMU and a 20MP 4/3 CMOS RGB camera in one stabilized unit. It captures dense, true-color point clouds with 2 cm ranging accuracy at 150 m, replacing ground-based LiDAR for most aerial survey work.
Up to five returns and a smaller laser spot than the previous generation drive better vegetation penetration, producing accurate digital elevation models even under dense canopy. A single flight covers up to 2.5 km², and output flows straight into DJI Terra for processing.
